Both versions ask for one the first time you open them. Creating an account is free and the key appears on your dashboard straight away — create an account, or grab your key if you already have one.
Windows: the installer sets things up for your account only, so no admin rights are needed. The portable build is a single file you can run from anywhere, including a USB stick.
macOS: separate builds for Apple Silicon and Intel — take the Apple Silicon one unless your Mac is from 2020 or earlier. Open the .dmg and drag WipeMySocial into Applications.
Linux: the AppImage needs to be made executable first — chmod +x WipeMySocial-1.1.0.AppImage — then run it directly. Nothing is installed system-wide.
None of the desktop builds are code-signed with a paid certificate yet. Windows may show a SmartScreen prompt — choose More info, then Run anyway. macOS will block the first launch outright: open System Settings → Privacy & Security and choose Open Anyway next to the note about WipeMySocial. On older macOS versions, right-clicking the app and choosing Open is enough.
Open the extension or app and enter the licence key from your dashboard.
Pick a platform and select comments, posts, likes, or narrow it down by date.
It scrolls, selects and deletes on its own while a panel keeps you posted.
