How it works
Filter in Facebook first
The Activity Log has its own filters for category and year. Narrowing there before you start means less to load and a much shorter run — worth doing if you only want one era gone.
Let it load
The tool scrolls until Facebook stops producing more. Nothing is deleted during this phase.
One removal pass
Select All, then Remove, then handle the confirmation dialog. Repeat until the log is empty.
Things that catch people out
Posts you were tagged in are not yours to delete
The Activity Log shows them, but Facebook only offers to remove the tag, not the post. Those stay — the tool cannot delete something owned by another account.
A re-authentication prompt stops the run
Same as with comments: Facebook occasionally asks for your password partway through. Enter it in Facebook's dialog and restart.
Deleting is not the same as archiving
Facebook offers archiving elsewhere in its interface. This removes rather than archives, and there is no undo.
