Bulk delete your Instagram comments

Instagram does have a bulk delete for comments, hidden in Your Activity — but it caps you at a handful of selections per screen and forgets your place constantly. WipeMySocial drives that same screen continuously instead, and can narrow the run by keyword.

How it works

  1. Narrow it down in Instagram first

Your Activity has a Sort & filter control with a date range. Setting that before you start is the only way to restrict a run by date, and it makes a long history far quicker.

  2. Pick a mode and a cap

Choose Comments, set a limit if you want to test with twenty before committing, and pick a speed.

  3. Let it work through

It selects and deletes continuously, showing deleted and skipped counts as it goes.

Things that catch people out

Instagram reorders the list as you delete

Removing items shifts what is on screen, which is why the tool re-scans rather than assuming positions hold.

The optional pre-scroll costs time

There is a "scroll to load all content first" checkbox. It makes long runs more reliable and much slower to start. Leave it off for a quick pass.

Comment replies count separately

A reply you left on your own post is its own comment and is removed as one.

Questions

Can I test it on a few first?
Yes — set the delete limit to something small like 20. It stops there.
Can I keep comments on certain posts?
Only by keyword. Instagram gives no per-post filter in this screen.
Does it delete comments other people left on my posts?
No. Your Activity contains only your own comments.
