Twitter / X

Bulk unlike your Twitter/X likes

X gives you no way to clear likes in bulk — no select-all, and the archive export will not remove anything. Unliking happens one item at a time, which is what WipeMySocial automates: it opens your Likes timeline and works down it until nothing is left.

How it works

  1. Open your Likes timeline

The URL selects the mode. On /likes it unlikes; elsewhere it deletes.

  2. It works down the list

Each item is unliked individually. The counter in the panel is the real number processed, not an estimate.

  3. It scrolls as it clears

X loads likes lazily, so the tool pulls more in and stops when the timeline runs dry.

Things that catch people out

Your likes list may be longer than you think

X has kept every like since you joined. People routinely find tens of thousands.

Unliking is silent but not instant

No notification is sent, but the author's like count drops. On a big run that is visible if someone is watching closely.

Confirmations occasionally miss

The tool presses Escape and carries on rather than stalling.

Questions

How long does clearing thousands of likes take?
Roughly 900 to 1,800 an hour on the default setting. Ten thousand likes is a long evening.
Can I unlike only some?
Yes, by keyword. Everything else is skipped.
Does this delete my own tweets too?
Not on the Likes timeline — that run only unlikes. Deleting tweets is a separate run from your profile.
